Before starting ESA, my child was enrolled in an inclusive kindergarten classroom at our local elementary school. By the end of the 2nd month, he was constantly disregulated and developed aggressive and self-injurous behaviors, which were completely new for us. Although the school tried to help us get to the root of it all, we just knew it wasn’t a good fit and that he needed a different environment and more help than he was getting there.

After starting ESA in Fall 2025, we have seen a dramatic difference in his overall happiness and well-being. Lisa is very perceptive of each and every child’s needs and does her best to accommodate everyone. She adjusts the curriculum and activities to fit their interests, provides sensory support where it’s needed, and is just so amazingly insightful in every aspect, from finding ways to alleviate triggers to giving amazing advice during our one-on-one coaching sessions. My son in particular enjoys Eric Carle books and drawing, and he is able to incorporate aspects of each to his learning in a way that works for him. Bethany and Sam also work so well with the kids and understand them in a way we wish some of our own family members could. I feel like I have learned so much in just one semester, and am beyond excited to continue building onto the progress we have made so far!”
