Looking for Observation Hours? Internships at Over The Moon

We are happy you found us and have an interest in observing at Over the Moon Pediatric Therapy.

For students interested in observing with our clinic, we are offering Internship positions. Internships are a semester-long commitment. For the Fall semester September through December and February-May for Spring semester. Internships entail 2-4 hours of scheduled time per week in the clinic supporting one of our group programs, plus any additional observation hours you wish to complete.

If you serve as an intern with Over the Moon, you will have the opportunity to observe our therapy sessions . Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to offer observation opportunities to students not serving as Clinic Interns at this time.

For the 2026-2027 school year we have the following internship positions available. Please note unless otherwise noted all Internships take place at Over The Moon Therapy at 5001 E. 5th Street:

Mondays:

3:15-5:45 Explorers Club Intern- A social and motor group supporting kids ages 1st-3rd grade led by an Occupational Therapist and one of our DIRFloortime Assistants

Wednesday:

8:15-10:00am or 9:45am-11:30am Emerging Stars Academy Social Play Group Interns- Choose one or two time slots. A social group supporting children 1st through 3rd grade most of whom are non-speakers or unreliable speakers.

Thursday:

3:30-5:15 Bal-a-Vis-X Group Intern-A motor skill group run by an Occupational Therapist supporting children 12 and up.

Fridays:

8:45-10:15am Adaptive Gymnastics Interns-A gross motor skill group run by an Occupational Therapist supporting our Emerging Stars Academy kids. *This takes place at Old Pueblo Gymnastics located at 7670 E Wrightstown Rd, Tucson, AZ 85715

3:30-5:15 Bal-a-Vis-X Group Intern-A motor skill group run by an Occupational Therapist supporting children ages 6-11 years old.

You must commit to one of the above time slots in order to participate in our internship program. If the above times do not work for your schedule please wait to apply until another semester.

We will be holding interviews/tryouts the following dates:

August 8, 2026

January 23, 2027

They are held from 10:00- 12:00 pm. All interested students are required to attend to get started with us.
