Therapy Packages are a bundle of services designed to meet the needs of your child over the course of a school year. All our packages include three kinds of support: Direct Services for your child, Parent Coaching and Consultation, and Family Engagement Programming (which includes 6 Parent Groups throughout the year and an Annual Spring Picnic for the whole family). Packages operate like a punch card. All packages expire on May 21, 2027.
-
The process of development and therapeutic change requires time and commitment from both therapists and families. Packages reflect the time and commitment needed to reap the greatest benefits from a therapeutic program.
Packages allow us to offer services at a lower cost to you. Having a committed client base allows us to keep our therapists’ case loads manageable, ensuring you get high quality services from a dedicated team who really has time to commit to your therapeutic process.
We are intentional to keep our therapists’ schedules at a volume that ensures they will have time to focus on each family we serve, and collaborate with each other as needed on care. If you have gone to therapy at other clinics, you know that you can easily feel like you are just a number–That will never be the case at Over the Moon. You will get what you pay for: A dedicated group of therapists who are on your side, a team who collaborates on your child’s care and is committed to working with you to solve problems that arise, and a professional administrative team that will return your calls, answer your questions, and be there to help as things come up.
-
We are committed to supporting your whole family and starting this year we have built some Family Engagement Programs into our Therapy Packages. All clients with Therapy Packages receive access to a Parent Group that will take place 6 times over the course of the year (on the first Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30pm, see calendar link for details). Groups are run by our DIRFloortime parent coaches, Emily Areinoff and Nicole Allen, and will be a time for parents to learn from our team and connect with each other without children present. We know our parents need support too, and we hope these groups will be opportunities to connect as parents and build out our support networks.
Additionally, we will be offering our First Annual Springtime Family Picnic on March 7, 2027 from 10am-12pm (location TBA). This will be an opportunity for the whole family to join our staff for a picnic at a park and build our community at Over the Moon! We are excited to start this new tradition!

Therapy Packages for 2026-2027 run from August 3, 2026-May 21, 2027. There are 36 weeks over that time period where we will be providing services: we have three weeks designated for Parent Coaching Weeks and the remaining weeks are scheduled as direct treatments. The clinic is closed for various breaks through the Package year, but we do not charge for weeks the clinic is closed. (See the calendar for full scheduling details.)
The Package rate is determined by the frequency of therapy and we reduce the rate more for more frequent therapy. For example, the Weekly Therapy rate is $150 per session, the Twice Weekly rate is $140 per session and the Thrice Weekly rate is $130 per session. (These are reduced from the $200 pay-as-you-go rate, so you can see that a Weekly Therapy Package gets a $50 reduction per session, and so on.)
Therapy packages are calculated by multiplying the number of weeks we provide services by the package rate. For example, to calculate a Weekly Therapy Package, we multiply the package rate of $150 per session by 36 weeks, for a total of $5,400. Clients can pay this in a lump sum, or divide into monthly payments over the time period of the package. A Weekly Therapy Package divided into monthly payments from August-May, results in a monthly payment of $540. We prorate this for packages that start after August.
-
Packages are designed so that you will be able to schedule your child for weekly, twice weekly, or three times a week services for the school year and take into account clinic closure dates outlined on our 2026-2027 therapy calendar (see below for list of important dates). Parent Coaching and Consultation sessions take place at set times during the year when the clinic will be closed for direct services and your regular scheduled time will be used for parent coaching that week instead.
-
Yes! To the best of our ability Package participants will be scheduled at a time that works for your family and will be given priority within our practice. Current clients who are renewing services with us will have first priority for fall scheduling.
-
You are responsible for scheduling make ups using our Client Portal (i.e. Jane). We keep some sessions open for make ups and have some weeks with extra make up sessions available. When a client cancels an appointment, that session will open for make-up availability, so please be sure to check frequently if you are trying to schedule a make-up appointment. We can not guarantee a make up session will be available at a specific time or that fits your availability.
-
All 2026-2027 packages expire May 21, 2027 and any unused services will be forfeit at that time.
-
No, we are happy to bill you monthly over the course of the school year (August-May,) or Summer and school year (June-May,) until your package is paid in full.
For families paying for therapy with Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, payments can be broken up into a schedule that aligns with your fund distribution schedule. Please see our ESA Service agreement for details.
-
We will consider pro-rating a package only for significant financial hardship such as job loss, in the event of an out of city move, or a major change of health status of a family member. Please see our service agreement for more details.
-
Packages are sold as a single product bundle. No refunds will be offered if you choose to stop services with us before using your full package. If you decide to stop therapy services mid-year, you are still responsible for the balance due on your account, which will be billed monthly until the contract is fulfilled (e.g. through May 2027).
-
No. Over The Moon uses a Developmental Relationship Based Intervention (DRBI) approach. Best practice includes both direct intervention as well as parent support and coaching. Coaching visits allow families to have dedicated time to get their questions answered, develop specific plans for home challenges, and integrate the knowledge they gain by participating in sessions with us. Therapy is a complex process and it requires a variety of types of support to be most effective.
-
No. You can elect to have services under our Pay As You Go program. Starting August 2026, Pay as You Go rates are $200 per hour. Pay As You Go clients are required to participate in a parent coaching visit at least three times during the school year (at least once every 12 sessions).
-
That is ok! If you are not able to commit to a full year of therapy, it is better to not sign up for a package. Families always have the option to choose our Pay As You Go Program described above. Unfortunately we are not able to offer discounted rates without the commitment of a Therapy Package.
-
We have a special “Dipping Your Toes In” package that includes 8 direct services and 2 parent coaching and consultation sessions. This is available to new families and gives you a taste of what services at Over The Moon are like. It is a great way to get to know our services before committing to a higher level of support.
-
Yes! We use a formula to custom create packages for clients starting at any time of the year.
-
People who have purchased packages intended to cover services through the end of the school year can purchase additional sessions at their package discount rate.
-
Yes and No. Parent Coaching hours included in your package can not be converted; the included hours must be used for those services. However, direct service hours may be converted to either Parent Coaching or Time on Behalf services at your request.
-
This is time your therapist spends outside of direct contact with you, supporting your child or family. Time on Behalf services represent important work that your therapist does on your child’s behalf, when you are not physically with them. Families may make specific requests of their therapist such as writing a letter on behalf of your child, developing home program materials like picture schedules or social stories, or collaborating with your child’s school teacher or other medical service provider. Package clients have the option to convert Direct Service hours to Time on Behalf services, or to pay for requested Time on Behalf at their package discounted rate.
-
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will count against your package. Cancellations for illnesses, when made with as much advance notice as possible, will not count against your package. You are responsible for scheduling illness make ups.
-
Therapist cancellations will not count against your package. When a provider is out sick, or unable to be in the clinic, we do our best to cover sessions. Typically we are able to have another provider see your child and keep your original appointment time. Occasionally we may need to work with you to reschedule at a time that works for you. If, in the unlikely event, your provider has to cancel and we are not able to cover it with another provider or reschedule at a time that works for you, we will credit your account for the missed session.
-
Over the Moon is closed for some holidays and breaks throughout the year. Clinic closures have been factored into the overall pricing and session quantities of our packages. Make-up sessions are not offered for services missed on clinic closure dates, because these are already factored into the cost of the package. Additionally, Parent Coaching and Consultation Sessions will take place during set weeks throughout the year and your regularly scheduled appointment time will take place over video conference with your therapist during Parent Coaching weeks (and your child will not need to be present).

No. Clinic closures have been factored into the pricing and session quantities of our packages. We have intentionally scheduled our calendar, so that no matter what day of the week your sessions regularly occur, the clinic will be closed the same number of days through the year for each day of the week. This is already factored into our pricing and you are expected to pay the same amount each month, regardless of clinic closures. This means that even for months like December, where the clinic is closed for multiple weeks, you still owe the same monthly amount.
-
Yes! Clients needing superbills can receive them for any package session. However, you must tell us at the time a package is purchased that you require superbills. If you decide you need superbills after a package is set up, there will be a $50 account set up fee for this change. Please keep in mind that Parent Coaching sessions are coded and can be submitted for reimbursement, but may not be covered as medically necessary. Time on Behalf sessions are not considered medically necessary and will not be covered by most insurance plans.
-
You can track your package usage in our client portal, Jane. From “My Account,” click on “Packages & Memberships” on the left side menu. That page will show you the details of how many sessions you have used from your package and when it expires (which will be May 21, 2027).
-
NNo, each child will need their own package for tracking purposes. However, when determining your hourly discounted rate, we will use the total number of service hours being purchased by your family to determine your package price. For example, if you have two children each coming once per week, we will provide the discount afforded to twice per week packages.
-
Yes. Please read our full 2026-2027 Service Agreement on our client portal (Jane) prior to signing, in order to fully understand the controlling details of our package agreements. Every client is required to sign a Service Agreement to obtain services from our clinic, and it constitutes a contract between client and provider.
