Therapy Packages are a bundle of services designed to meet the needs of your child over the course of a school year. All our packages include three kinds of support: Direct Services, Parent Coaching and Consultation, and Time on Behalf Services (this is time your therapist spends outside of direct contact with you supporting your child, more info below). All Packages include all three types of services. Packages operate like a punch card. All packages expire on May 22, 2026
-
The process of development and therapeutic change requires time and commitment from both therapists and families. Packages reflect the time and commitment needed to reap the greatest benefits from a therapeutic program. Packages allow us to offer services at a lower cost to you. Having a committed client base also allows us to keep our therapist’s case load manageable, ensuring you get high quality services from a dedicated team who really has time to commit to your therapeutic process.
-
Packages are designed so that you will be able to schedule your child for weekly, twice weekly, or three times a week services for the school year and take into account clinic closure dates outlined on our 2025-2026 therapy calendar (more info below). Certain services, like many of our Parent Coaching and Consultation sessions, take place at set times during the year when the clinic will be closed for direct services and your regular scheduled time will be used for parent coaching that week instead. Every package includes one additional parent consultation session that can be scheduled at your convenience, when you most need it. Time on behalf services can be used throughout the year. Please see the service definitions section of the Service Agreement for more details about what kinds of services might be included in the Time on Behalf service provision.
-
Yes! To the best of our ability Package participants will be scheduled at a time that works for your family and will be given priority within our practice. Current clients who are renewing services with us will have first priority for fall scheduling.
-
You are responsible for scheduling make ups using our Client Portal (i.e. Jane). We keep some sessions open for make ups and have some weeks with extra make up sessions available. When a client cancels an appointment, that session will open for make-up availability, so please be sure to check frequently if you are trying to schedule a make-up appointment. We can not guarantee a make up session will be available at a specific time or that fits your availability.
-
All 2025-2026 packages expire May 22, 2026 and any unused services will be forfeited at that time.
-
No, we are happy to bill you monthly over the course of the school year (August-May,) or Summer and school year (June-May,) until your package is paid in full.
For families paying for therapy with Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, payments can be broken into 1,2,3, or 4 payments, depending on your fund distribution schedule. Please see our ESA Service agreement for details.
-
Packages are sold as a single product bundle. No refunds will be offered, if you choose to stop services with us before using your full package. If you decide to stop therapy services mid-year, you are still responsible for the balance due on your account, which will be billed monthly until the contract is fulfilled (e.g. through May 2026).
-
We will consider pro-rating a package only for significant financial hardship such as job loss, in the event of an out of city move, or a major change of health status of a family member. Please see our service agreement for more details.
-
No. Over The Moon uses a Developmental Relationship Based Intervention (DRBI) approach. Best practice includes both direct intervention as well as parent support and coaching. Coaching visits allow families to have dedicated time to get their questions answered, develop specific plans for home challenges, and integrate the knowledge they gain by participating in sessions with us. Therapy is a complex process and it requires a variety of types of support to be most effective.
-
This is time your therapist spends outside of direct contact with you, supporting your child. Time on Behalf services represent important work that your therapist does on your child’s behalf, when you are not physically with them. Time on Behalf allows therapists to have time to prepare materials for you and/or your child, connect with additional team members to collaborate on how best to support you and your child, create specialized program materials, and/or fulfill specific family requests.
-
No. You can elect to have services under our Pay As You Go program. Pay as you Go rates are $165 per hour. Pay As You Go clients are required to participate in a parent coaching visit once every 10 visits and must purchase one Time on behalf hour every 12 weeks of their program.
-
That is ok! If you are not able to commit to a full year of therapy, it is better to not sign up for a package. Families always have the option to choose our Pay As You Go Program described above. Unfortunately we are not able to offer discounted rates without the commitment of a package.
-
We have a special “Dipping Your Toes In” package that includes 8 direct services and 2 parent coaching and consultation sessions. This is available to new families and gives you a taste of what the Over The Moon Program is like. It is a great way to get to know our services before committing to a higher level of support.
-
Yes! We use a formula to custom create packages for clients starting at any time of the year.
-
People who have purchased packages intended to cover services through the end of the school year can purchase additional sessions at their package discount rate.
-
Yes and No. Parent Coaching hours and Time on Behalf hours included in your package can not be converted; the included hours must be used for those services. However, direct service hours may be converted to either parent coaching or time on behalf at your request.
-
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will count against your package. Cancellations for illnesses, when made with as much advance notice as possible, will not count against your package. You are responsible for scheduling illness make ups.
-
Therapist cancellations will not count against your package. Because we can never control when life happens, every package is designed to account for a few provider-cancelled sessions throughout the year (exact amount determined by individual package). If, in the unlikely event, your provider has to cancel more sessions than your package covers, we will work with you to reschedule at a time that works for you and will credit your account if we are unable to do so.
-
Over the Moon is closed for some holidays and breaks throughout the year. Clinic closures have been factored into the overall pricing and session quantities of our packages. Make-up sessions are not offered for services missed on clinic closure dates, because these are already factored into the cost of the package. Additionally, Parent Coaching and Consultation Sessions will take place during set weeks throughout the year and your regularly scheduled appointment time will take place over video conference with your therapist during Parent Coaching weeks (and your child will not need to be present).

No. Clinic closures have been factored into the pricing and session quantities of our packages. We have intentionally scheduled our calendar, so that no matter what day of the week your sessions regularly occur, the clinic will be closed the same number of days through the year for each day of the week. This is already factored into our pricing and you are expected to pay the same amount each month, regardless of clinic closures. This means that even for months like December, where the clinic is closed for multiple weeks, you still owe the same monthly amount.
-
Yes! We are excited to announce that clients needing superbills can now receive them for any package session. However, you must tell us at the time a package is purchased that you require superbills. If you decide you need superbills after a package is set up, there will be a $50 account set up fee for this change.
Please keep in mind that the required Time on Behalf sessions are not considered medically necessary services, and will not be covered by most insurance plans. Parent coaching sessions are coded and can be submitted for reimbursement, but may not be covered as medically necessary.
-
You can track your package usage in our client portal, Jane. From “My Account,” click on “Packages & Memberships” on the left side menu. That page will show you the detail of how many sessions you have used from your package and when it expires (which will be May 22, 2026).
-
No, each child will need their own package for tracking purposes. However, when determining your hourly discounted rate, we will use the total number of service hours being purchased by your family to determine your package price. For example, if you have two children each coming once per week, we will provide the discount afforded to twice per week packages.
-
Yes. Please read our full 25-26 Service Agreement on our client portal (Jane) prior to signing, in order to fully understand the controlling details of our package agreements. Every client is required to sign a Service Agreement to obtain services from our clinic, and it constitutes a contract between client and provider.
